Everything My First Month on Cam Taught Me
I’ve only been on random cam for a month, but that month taught me more than I expected, and it gave me a story worth telling.
In my first week I was mostly awkward and getting skipped a lot, and I almost gave up. Then I matched a girl who was patient and warm, and she completely changed the game for me. She showed me how to just be myself instead of trying to perform, and suddenly everything clicked. We had this easy, natural conversation, and it was the first time I actually felt good about the whole thing instead of just nervous.
By the end of that first month I’d had some genuinely incredible sessions, the kind that make all the awkward early nights worth it. It was exactly the first-month experience I’d been hoping for, just with more surprises than I expected.
Looking back, the best advice I got was simple: relax, be honest, and don’t take it too seriously. The moment I stopped trying so hard, everything got better, and I started having way more fun. I went from dreading the awkward silences to genuinely looking forward to each new match, which is exactly how it should feel.
If you’re just starting out, don’t give up after a few bad nights, because everyone goes through that awkward phase. The right conversation starters and a little patience make all the difference, and the good sessions are out there waiting for you, just like they were for me.
